These lightweight 30gsm A4 tissue sheets have a lovely soft, smooth surface and are easy to handle, making them a great choice for decoupage. Although this is called tissue paper, it is not the same as the thin tissue layers found on decoupage napkins. It is a more substantial single sheet, giving you a little more strength when positioning and smoothing your design while still blending beautifully into your finished project.
They are also suitable for home printing your own images. Depending on your printer, you may need to attach the tissue to a carrier sheet and use the manual feed tray. If using an inkjet printer, the printed image will need to be sealed before decoupaging to help prevent the ink from bleeding.
Although most printers will take this tissue with the help of a carrier sheet, I cannot guarantee that every make and model will be suitable or able to accommodate paper this lightweight. Please always check your printer manufacturer’s instructions and recommended paper weights before attempting to print on it. Using paper outside of your printer manufacturer’s recommended specifications may cause paper jams or other issues, so printing onto this tissue is entirely at the customer’s own risk.
If you’re unsure whether this tissue is right for you or your printer, you’re very welcome to ask for a small free sample – you just pay the postage and packing.
